We know that traditional panel research is coming to the end of its useful life. Grey Matter found that an astounding 46% of respondents had to be left out of panel studies due to the low quality of their responses. Our methodology is centred around building agile communities from across the UK around a theme, authentically engaging with those communities to understand their views and ideas and then turning that insight into information that you can benefit from. It’s simple, but so impactful.
National Youth Trends is updated once a quarter with a feature topic. Monthly insights from young disruptors as citizens, consumers and workers are developed and added; in line with current global and social issues, business developments and cultural happenings every couple of weeks.

All of our research is based on our own delivery matrix. We seek individual opinion and our insights cover opinions and thoughts from 1 to 2000 people.
This is accompanied by secondary research, which is analysed by our Futurists and Researchers and backed by articles from relevant industry leaders and young disruptors.
Whilst we don’t pay for responses in our primary research, we do offer a bursary fund to young disruptors. It’s a fund that Beatfreeks have to support young people to overcome barriers to participate in our project work. This applies to completing surveys, content creation for social platforms and youth panels. Amounts vary from project to project.
